Good Mining Practice (GMP) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the implementation of Good Mining Practice principles across mining operations to ensure compliance with applicable mining regulations, company standards, and sustainability commitments. This role supports operational compliance through regular monitoring, reporting, audit coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, environmental management, operational governance, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices.
Some of your duties will include:
- Coordinate the implementation of Good Mining Practice (GMP) policies, standards, and procedures across all mining operational areas.
- Monitor operational compliance with company SOPs, mining regulations, occupational health & safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Prepare and maintain GMP compliance reports for management and relevant regulatory authorities.
- Identify non-compliance findings and coordinate corrective and preventive actions to ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide technical and administrative support to operational teams related to GMP implementation and compliance matters.
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to mining operational compliance and GMP standards.
- Act as liaison between operations, management, and regulatory stakeholders regarding GMP compliance activities.
- Support the implementation of sustainability, environmental management, and ESG-related initiatives within mining operations.
- Assist in conducting training, awareness programs, and socialization related to Good Mining Practice principles and regulatory compliance.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related disciplines.
- Possess POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the mining industry, preferably in operational compliance, mine supervision, or GMP-related functions.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian mining regulations, occupational health & safety standards, environmental management, and ESG principles.
- Good knowledge of Good Mining Practice implementation, including environmental management and reclamation practices.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills across operational and regulatory functions.
- High integrity, disciplined, detail-oriented, and committed to sustainable mining practices.
- Willing to work at site location under roster working arrangement.
