Responsible for end-to-end leadership of mining operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable production aligned with corporate strategy. The role oversees operations, technical services, finance, HSE, and stakeholder management across one or multiple mining assets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- 15–20+ years in mining industry
- At least 5 years of experience in senior leadership roles, such as General Manager, Mine Manager, or Project Director.
- Strong exposure to: Gold mining (mandatory in most roles), Open pit and/or underground operations
- Experience in large-scale or multi-site operations
- Strong understanding of Mine planning (short-term & long-term)
- Strong track record in Safety leadership (Zero Harm culture)
- Deep understanding of Mining regulations & permits, Environmental & sustainability standards (ESG)
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational management capabilities.
