Key Responsibilities
– Drive technical decisions and enhance mining operations efficiency
– Lead large-scale project development and commissioning activities
– Supervise equipment installation and ensure HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) compliance
– Support technical due diligence and evaluate potential mining acquisitions
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Mining Engineering
– Minimum 20 years of experience in large-scale copper mining
– At least 10 years in a leadership role as Deputy Chief Engineer or Chief Engineer
– Strong knowledge of end-to-end mining processes: exploration – mining – processing – smelting
– Solid understanding of porphyry copper-gold deposits
– Skilled in mineral exploration and geological evaluation
– Proficient in 3DMine and Surpac
– Experience managing full-cycle mining project development
– Open to international travel
